Sunday Morning at St. Malachi
“SUNDAY MORNING AT ST. MALACHI”
Experience a Parish Event/Activity
each Sunday from 10:15- 11:15am
Everyone is invited to join “Sunday Morning at St. Malachi.” This initiative started at the beginning of 2014 and offers parishioners and visitors the opportunity to gather and participate in a group activity/event each Sunday from 10:15-11:20 (between the 2 Sunday Masses). It’s a wonderful way to meet with friends old and new, get involved in the goings on of the parish, and enrich your personal faith journey. Meetings are in the Church Hall in the school building unless otherwise noted.
Please see Fr. Tony’s Blog for his reflection on Rediscovering Sunday Morning.
We thank Patrick Cleary-Burns and Dave Kennard for coordinating this initiative during 2014. We are currently in need leadership for 2015! If you are able to help, please contact someone from Parish Council.
Wednesday Evening Prayer, 1/7/2015, Armchair Mystic
Praying is important to Jesus. The word “pray” appears 155 times in the Gospels. Jesus was going away to pray alone, asking his followers to join him in prayer, or teaching his followers to pray. Join us on Wednesday Jan. 7, 2015 as we offer a time of prayer and reflection based on the book, Armchair Mystic by Mark E. Thibodeaux, S.J. If you have been looking for help to take your prayer home please join us. We start at 7pm in church. You do not need to be present for every session to benefit. We will provide materials. “For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.” (St. Thérèse of Lisieux)
