Monday Night Meal is back! Want to help? Please consider volunteering or donating to our Food Fund!
The mission of this ministry is to provide for the needs of the poor including nutrition and other hungers, such as the need for human care and concern. This ministry provides a hot meal on every Monday of the year.
Guests are invited into the hall for a hearty sit-down dinner. Doors open at 5:00PM. Dinner is served until 6:15 PM following prayer and announcements.
Prior to the day, main-dish cooks and salad/fruit purchasers are needed on a once-a-month rotation. A volunteer weekly coordinator will contact the cooks and purchasers for specifics. In addition, volunteers are needed to pick up donated desserts. See discussion below for additional information.
On Monday afternoon/evening, volunteers are needed for all shifts and assignments—set-up, salad prep, food warming, welcoming guests, serving, and clean-up starting at 3:00 pm and concluding before 7:00 pm.
Please contact Mike Pellegrino (216-214-2878) or Henry Speier (216-406-2035) or MNM@StMalachi.org to volunteer for one of these assignments.

The best times to bring Monday Night Meal food are 15 minutes before or after 10:00 am Sunday Mass, between 9:30 to 1:00 on Mondays, or between 3:00 to 4:00 on Mondays. If there is a problem with delivering food during these windows, alternate arrangements can be made by contacting Henry Speier (216-406-2035) or Mike Pellegrino (216-214-2878). Please label the top of pan with the name of the meal, date to be served at MNM, and Monday Night Meal (MNM)! Location for dropping off refrigerated food is the cooler in the main hall marked for Monday Night Meal.
