Monday Night Meal has been feeding the poor at St. Malachi every Monday for more than 40 years
Monday Night Meal is back! We are currently serving sandwiches only. Want to help? Please consider donating to our Food Fund. We hope to be back soon and look forward to seeing all of our guests and volunteers!
The mission of this ministry is to provide for the needs of the poor including nutrition and other hungers, such as the need for human care and concern.
This ministry provides a hot meal on every Monday of the year. Volunteer cooks use a standard menu to prepare the meat and vegetables/fruit which is delivered to the kitchen prior to serving and reheated for serving. The additional side dishes are prepared by the cooks in the kitchen.
A meal is served from approximately 6:00-6:30 p.m. Volunteers are asked to come between 5:00-5:30 p.m. and remain until cleanup is finished, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Volunteer cooks: Here is our past meal schedule and recipes (Please Note: We are currently serving sandwiches only but hope to return to cooked meals soon):
