Join us at 7:00 PM this Wednesday, November 7, 2018 to learn about & pray with St. Catherine of Siena. She started her spiritual journey as a laywoman associated with the Dominican order. She inspired the Church even in her own time.
All women are invited to join us Saturday, November 10, at 10:00 AM at Centering Space, 14812 Lake Ave., for a time of being with & supporting each other in reflection, prayer & coffee! Bring a friend.
Let’s join as a parish family on November 4, 2018 for our Circle of Saints. PSR children will present holy heroes whom they’ve researched. Activities for all ages include creating family altars for November remembrance at home, saint key chains and prayer cards, and sharing holy heroes whom we remember in our lives. Please bring photos to create a framed collage (11” X 14”) to celebrate those whose faith and holiness have touched you.

This Thursday, November 1, 2018 is the Feast of All Saints, a Holy Day of obligation. We remember & celebrate all God’s holy people, canonized & non-canonized, known to us & known to God alone. On Wednesday, All Hallows Eve (Halloween), Mass is at 5:30PM. Note: there is no Noon Mass this Wednesday. Masses on Thursday are at 7AM & Noon.
Friday, November 2, 2018 is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Soul’s Day), in which we commend all our beloved dead to God. St. Malachi will celebrate our annual Mass or Remembrance at the 4:30PM Mass next Saturday, November 3, 2018 when we remember by name all who have died from St. Malachi this past year.
Jesus came to heal the whole person, body and soul. On Saturday October 27 and Sunday October 28, 2018, we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at all Masses.
The ritual consists of the Laying on of Hands and anointing with oil, gestures signifying healing, strength and the Holy Spirit’s presence. All are welcome, especially those who are sick or suffering in any way, body, mind, or spirit.
