During Lent, Saint Patrick will begin a parish initiative entitled, Building with Living Stones as Missionary Disciples. Four Lenten presentations will address this theme of what it is to be a missionary disciple. Many at Saint Malachi are familiar with these terms since members of the parish have been reflecting on this subject. Missionary Discipleship calls us to live in Christ and bring Him to others. How do we already do this? How are we being called to discover new ways for ourselves and our parish family? The presentations will be offered on specific Wednesdays immediately after the 5:30PM Mass at Saint Pat’s.
Please join us in-person or via livestream. We welcome Mr. Miguel Chavez from the Office of Missionary Discipleship (February 24), Ms. Pattie Batchman from the Office of Lay Ecclesial Ministry (March 3), and Rev. Mark Latcovich who serves as Rector of Borromeo and Saint Mary Seminaries (March 10). Our final presentation will be offered by Miguel as he returns on March 24 to offer reflections on going forward with what this looks like in the parish. While this is a year-long initiative for Saint Patrick Parish, it’s a great opportunity for Saint Malachi to hear these presentations as we renew our call of being a missionary disciple in 2021. No reservations required. Again, join us in-person or join us via livestream.
