Our annual Tenebrae Service of Shadows and Light will be held on Monday of Holy Week, April 10 at 7:00 PM at St. Colman Church, 2027 West 65 St. Tenebrae is a Holy Week Devotion which dates back to the 7th or 8th century and consists of Scripture, hymns and the successive extinguishing of candles/lights as the service progresses. This beautiful prayer has become a long standing collaboration of the churches of our Central West District. St. Colman is accessible with a ramp on the north side of the church.
All women are invited to a time of being with and supporting each other in reflection and prayer… and coffee this Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Centering Space, 14812 Lake Ave., Lakewood. Please join us and bring a friend!
Cleveland Performing Arts Ministries’ musical passion play Tetélestai will be presented at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 15700 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, on April 7, 8 and 9, 2017. Performances will be at 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday. Tetélestai’s dramatic stage production and timeless music tell the story of Jesus’ trial, execution and resurrection in a visual way that will leave a lasting impression.
