Due to the liturgical calendar, Monday, January 9, 2017, is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, the final feast of the Christmas season and the beginning of Ordinary Time of the church year. Your help is truly needed! Everyone has enjoyed the beauty of our Christmas decorations; can you help pack them up for next year? Even a little help will be a big difference!
Wednesday Prayer 12.28.2016 7:00PM
Continue to deepen your prayer and your experience of Advent on Wednesday, December 28 2016 with Eucharistic Adoration as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
We reverence in silence and a reading. We start at 7:00pm in the church.
When we come to the Blessed Sacrament we come to Bethlehem. The Blessed Sacrament is the continuation of Christ’s Incarnation on earth. And, as in Bethlehem, adoration is the proper response to the reality of God’s Presence in our midst, disguised though He is in form of the Sacred Host. (“The Bible & The Eucharist” By Deacon Barth E. Bracy, Catholic Online)
