Taizé Prayer is evening prayer for all Christian faiths. It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ’s presence around and within us.
Mantra songs (like “Jesus, Remember Me”), prayerful silence, and short readings guide the focus of the prayer in a candlelit environment. We begin at 7PM on October 12; the two side entrances will be open. Come to the quiet and be refreshed!
Taizé Prayer Resumes: Wednesday, October 13!
After a long hiatus, we feel it’s safe to resume our tradition of Taizé Prayer every other month on the second Wednesday at 7PM. We can sing the lovely, repeated chants very safely with distance and (encouraged) masking. Bring your cares before the Lord and sit in the meditative, candle-lit quiet of our beautiful church.
Call Charlene at the rectory for more information.
