Each year we begin the ‘gardening’ season with the generosity of helpers from both the parish and St. Ignatius High School in cooperation with the Jesuit Day of Service. Bring your gloves, rakes, wheelbarrow to help clean up the outdoors. We also need help maintaining garden areas all summer long. Please consider “adopting a SPOT” around our St. Malachi campus. You are invited to join the Buildings and Grounds Task Force on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 AM to do a final 2017 gardens and grounds clean up. Bring your gloves, trimmers, pruners, etc. There are bushes, branches, overgrowth and leaves just waiting for us :)

Can you join us on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9:30-Noon to clean the church for Easter? Bring your rags and cleaning tools so we can: dust kneelers, baseboards and woodwork, polish candlesticks and other metals, clean the nooks and crannies, and attend to the bulletin boards.

Sunday, January 8,2017, is the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord. Due to the liturgical calendar, Monday, January 9, 2017, is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, the final feast of the Christmas season and the beginning of Ordinary Time of the church year. This means that it will be time to remove all of the Christmas decorations following the 11:30 AM Mass.
Your help is truly needed! Everyone has enjoyed the beauty of our Christmas decorations; can you help pack them up for next year? Even a little help will be a big difference!
