Institute of Catholic Studies Lecture Series, 11/29/2017
Each year the Institute of Catholic Studies at John Carroll University brings to its students, faculty, and the broader community a group of experts on issues of contemporary relevance to the Catholic intellectual tradition and Jesuit higher education. On Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 7:30 PM, Timothy Wengert, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia will speak on “The 95 Theses” at John Carroll’s Dolan Auditorium The lecture is free and open to the public. The Lecture Series is made possible through the generosity of John G. and Mary Jane Breen.
Children’s Christmas Choir, 12/01/2017

L’Arche Community Solidarity Bake Sale, 11/19/2017
L’Arche Cleveland will have its annual Solidarity Bake Sale next Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the hall after the Sunday Masses. Funds raised by L’Arche Cleveland are used for L’Arche Communities around the world without access to public funding, and who often struggle to put food on the table.

Pope Francis’ The Joy of Love Series, 11/15/2017
This Wednesday, November 15, 2017 Deacon Leo and Nancy Bistak will lead reflections & discussion on Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation, The Joy of Love (Amoris Laetitia) at 7:00 PM in the hall. We begin at 6:00 PM with a Potluck dinner. Bring your favorite autumn dish to share. The Joy of Love expresses the Church’s high regard for the vocation and sacrament of Marriage. Inner- City Saints Award To Honor Father Jim, 11/16/2017
Notre Dame College will present its 2017 Inner- City Saints Award to Fr. James “Jim” O’Donnell during a luncheon Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Noon at the Tudor Arms Double Tree Hotel, 10660 Carnegie Ave. in University Circle. Proceeds from the Inner- City Saints Award luncheon, will directly benefit the College’s Caring Hearts Fund, which supports students who face unforeseen financial, physical or emotional hardship during the academic year.
