Sr. Rita Mary Harwood SND developed the LEAF (Listening, Encouraging and Assisting Families) program to provide a place for families with an incarcerated family member to share their worries & troubles with other families in the same straits.
St. Malachi is forming a monthly listening group to welcome families for an evening of sharing & listening. We will provide light refreshments, babysitting, an open forum for their sharing experiences & a guide to agencies which can help.
Sr. Rita Mary will come this Wednesday, March 9, at 6:30PM for some training in the hall. Please contact Deacon Leo at leot.bistak@gmail.com if you have interest in being part of the St. Malachi LEAF team.
