Tuesday, December 8, 2015 is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation and the patronal feast of the United States. There will be a Vigil Mass Monday at 7 PM; Masses on Tuesday are at 7 AM and Noon. (St. Patrick, Bridge has 5:30 PM Mass on both days).
Additionally, December 8 is the 50th Anniversary of the close
of Vatican II. It also is the beginning of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy which continues until November 20, 2016, the Feast of Christ the King.
