The Samaritan Ministry, is offering a FREE one-day ADDICTION AWARENESS WORKSHOP in Malachi Center on Saturday, February 29, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Snacks and beverages provided. Donations always welcome. Relevant topics will include: the opioid epidemic; addition/alcoholism as a brain disease; effects of drinking/using on others; treatment options; 12-steps programs of recovery; community resources. January 25-26, 2020 is The Latin American Collection. It is the main support for two Diocese of Cleveland priests who work in the two parishes served by our Mission Office. This appeal also makes a contribution to the Collection for the Church in Latin America which benefits projects and the formation of seminarians, religious and lay leaders in 23 countries across Latin America.

All engaged couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage at St. Malachi and St.Patrick parishes are asked to attend one of the following dates for this introductory presentation, Saturday (11:30am-2:00pm) at St Patrick Rectory Meeting Room with a light lunch provided: February 8th, May 9th, August 22nd, November 7th. The St. Malachi Liturgy Commission meets this coming Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 7PM to begin preparations for Lent and review the Advent/Christmas season.
