Our annual Parish Lenten Project will benefit the St. Kizito Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2001 by Father Don Dunson, a priest of our diocese, to provide hope for young people who have been affected by the war and poverty in Uganda. The students are former child soldiers, victims or orphans of war, poverty, and disease, or suffer from HIV/AIDS or physical and mental disabilities. Through the efforts of the foundation, these young people are provided with scholarships, counseling, food, shelter, and community support. Offering envelopes will be available at the church doors for your use. Sponsored by our Social Action Commission. For further information, visit www.stkizito.org.
