After prayer we will have a short meeting to talk about our retreat in June and start thinking about next year.
In light of Friday’s U.S. Supreme Court’s decision, Fr. Tony will offer a different topic: “A Conversation on the Catholic Church’s Teaching on Marriage in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision, Obergefell v. Hodges legalizing same-sex marriage in all 50 States.”
As always, Sunday Mornings at St. Malachi programs are held in St. Malachi Parish Hall beginning at 10:15 AM and will conclude at 11:15 AM.
Because of Father’s Day this year, the 20s and 30s “Third Sunday Brunch”, will be held instead on the 4th Sunday, 6/28/2015. As always, all 20s and 30s are invited to gather at The Big Egg at 5107 Detroit Ave, for brunch after 11:30AM Mass. Just ask to be seated with the other St.Malachi 20s and 30s. Come and bring a friend!

If you are not familiar with Indian food, come and the staff will explain the menu and direct you to something that is pleasing to your palate. This restaurant features cuisine from Southern India.
The Samaritan Ministry will conduct its 2015 program on Saturday, June 13 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM at St. Malachi Center. Register online on the St. Malachi Parish website.
The Samaritan Ministry is an ongoing St. Malachi Parish ministry with a mission of training church leaders, pastoral ministers, and other interested individuals to better minister to those affected by addiction.
This day-long educational workshop will increase participants’ awareness of the consequences of substance abuse, which can occur in any community.

After dinner several people of St. Malachi parish will share their faith journey and we will all celebrate in song.
To celebrate our 150th Anniversary, Lifelong Faith Formation and Education Commission is sponsoring a Parish Retreat on July 31- August 2, 2015 at the beautiful St. Leonard Retreat House in Avon. You can see pictures of our closing Mass from last summer on the St. Malachi website. Many hands will be needed. Plan to participate, grow, and enjoy!
