MEN’S GROUP SUMMER WANDERING St. Malachi men and their friends are invited to share in an Illuman ‘Summer Wandering’ event on August 22, 10 am – 3 pm at Camp Koinonia, 6810 Cork Cold Springs Rd, Geneva, OH with men of Male Spirit. The day will be filled with individual exploration – opening oneself to God’s natural wonders and our place as men in it. A day of fasting, wandering & contemplation. A portion of the profits will be sent to St. Malachi Parish for our 150th anniversary year. The Parish Retreat which will be held at the St. Leonard Youth Retreat House in Avon, Ohio. The retreat will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 31 and conclude at 1:00 PM Sunday August 2. All parishioners – single, married, divorced and widowed – of all ages – are invited. Bring the entire family! Meals are included.
The goal of the retreat is to strengthen faith and build community while having fun. The theme is “Nazareth” which will break open the daily living of our faith. The program features shared scripture, music and meals as well as breakout groups for children, teens and adults.

FEST 2015, our Catholic Family FESTival is Sunday, August 9th from Noon till 10:00 PM at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe. Thousands from across the region will come for a day o faith, family and fun and it’s all FREE!
Great Music will be heard from Matt Maher, Building 429, Steven Curtis Chapman and MercyMe.
Outdoor Mass beins at 8:00 PM followed by fireworks.
Parking is convenient.

The St. Malachi’s 150th Anniversary Homecoming Festival will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2:00 PM-8:00PM on the St. Malachi Campus at West 25th St. and Detroit Ave. There will be entertainment, food, fun and activities for all ages. Admission is free.
A full schedule of music and performances will occur between 2PM and 8:00PM (see sidebar for details). Highlights include DJ Paul Farace, the Leneghan Academy of Irish Dance, the West Side Irish American Club Pipe Band, and Brigid’s Cross. volunteers! However we need a few more, specifically,
at least 3 volunteers to do a 2 hour shift on the Trash/Clean Up Crew and several for the Take Down crew at 8:00 pm.
