Superbowl XLIX Broadcast Time will begin at 6:30PM EST on Sunday, 2/1/2015 and will air live on NBC with coverage starting at 1:00 EST, so you will have plenty of football-themed television to watch all day.
If you don’t have cable, no problem. It will be easier than ever to watch the Super Bowl online this year. Visit the NBC Site and follow the simple instructions. No cable TV subscription necessary! You can even watch the half time show on the streaming service for the first time. One thing to note: The streaming service won’t work on your smartphone.
The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will face off in the game and the Super Bowl Halftime Show will feature Katy Perry and her special guests Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott.
Idina Menzel will be singing the National Anthem while John Legend will take on “America the Beautiful”.
While the Super Bowl is played in sunny Phoenix, a winter snowstorm is predicted for Cleveland, OH and the temperature will be a relatively warm 26 degrees where St. Malachi Parish is located. Our partner, The Metanoia Project, will be at St. Malachi to provide overnight housing to homeless people who otherwise would sleep on the street or in one of the homeless camps. Unfortunately, neither streaming nor cable will be available to our homeless guests so they won’t be watching the game.
