Synodal Initiative Underway: Message from Fr. Gurnick
The Diocese of Cleveland is sending out detailed materials to all parishes by next week as we prepare for the Synod on Synodality. To ensure fruitfulness on the parish level, in accord with the vision of our diocesan leaders, I’ve asked Stephanie Pritts to facilitate the process at Saint Malachi and Saint Patrick parishes. She will be assisted by Christy Bartley who serves as Coordinator of Communications at Saint Patrick. Both Stephanie and Christy are working with Thriving Congregations, another initiative involving a process of listening and discovery for both parishes. Once we receive and review the diocesan materials, Stephanie will be communicating with parishioners about the next concrete steps. Let us continue to pray for the success of this endeavor and for the needs of the Universal Church.
