The face masks and physical distancing in St Malachi Church last Sunday afternoon did not diminish the joy of our celebration of Sacraments of Initiation with our two catechumens, Marissa Pence and Christopher Horvath, and our three candidates for full communion in the Catholic Church, Amy Friedel, Carli Leone, and Reed Remington. God bestowed His sacramental grace on His beloved daughters and sons during a beautiful liturgy concelebrated by Fr Gurnick and Fr Hollis, a senior priest who now resides at St Patrick. While the mechanics of the sacraments were individualized for safety and hygiene, the love and joy bestowed by Father, Son and Spirit were not dimmed or diminished. And, thanks to our hospitality ministers, a physically distanced outdoor reception provided fellowship and a treat as we shared the joy of the day! Congratulations and prayers to all!
