Prepare Malachi Center for Vigil Reception: Volunteers are needed to help clean and set up Malachi Center on Holy Saturday, March 31, beginning at noon. We will need to clean the tables, chairs, restrooms and mop the floors prior to the Easter Vigil Reception that follows the Easter Vigil Mass.
Easter Vigil Gathering and Easter Sunday Coffee Hours Need Baked Goods: The Hospitality Commission is seeking baked goods for the Easter Vigil gathering at Malachi Center after the Easter Vigil Mass and also for the Coffee Hours after 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM Mass on Easter Sunday. They may be dropped off at Malachi Center Saturday afternoon, March 31.
Pentecost celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church and the beginning of the Church’s mission. It is the final feast of the Easter season. On Monday, June 4, 2017, the Church returns to the Ordinary Time of the liturgical year. Weekday readings will be from the Ninth Week of Ordinary Time, Year I; Sunday readings will continue to be from Year A, featuring the Gospel of Matthew.
