The Samaritan Ministry provides an annual workshop to educate and develop understanding and awareness about alcoholism and substance addiction, causes, effects, treatment, recovery and prevention. This workshop is provided to area church ministers, social workers and others involved in the care of people.
Volunteers who have knowledge about alcoholism and substance addiction, adult learning styles, workshop/training programs and/or publicity are needed for this ministry.
The time commitment includes attending regular committee meetings and assisting during workshops.
