Approval of the Minutes: Minutes from the 3/7/23 meeting were approved as written
Discussion: Annual Meeting
- To take place on 4/23/23 in the church following the 10 AM Mass
- Topics/speakers: Monday Night Meal–Jeff Walters, Strategic Planning Process–Judy Slivka, Finance report–Mike Canfield, Nominations–Cathy Graham
- There are 8 candidates for 5 openings
- Judy Slivka agreed to serve an additional year to complete Janet Benoit’s term.
- Per the discussion, this is in accordance with the bylaws which state that council can fill open positions of resignees with members whose terms were expiring.
- Outdoor Free Concert (6/24) –Margaret Armstead
- Handouts/tasks/process: Fr. Gurnick: distribute letter re: sale of property to Stella Maris (questions to be collected), Helping tasks: Mic runners: Jan & Melissa, Note cards: Judy ST, Golf pencils; voting boxes, Hospitality: finger food & beverages in the Hall, Binder of documents sent to the Bishop to be available for perusal
Administrator’s Report from Fr. Gurnick:
- Issues with Cleveland Marathon 5/21/23 route change. Consensus: one weekend mass only at 4PM on Saturday 5/20/23
