A beautiful Mass celebrated with Bishop Malesic including a lively rendition of Our Lady of Knock, a recessional procession with bagpipes, a laying of a commemorative wreath, a Blessing of the cornerstone exactly 150 years after it was laid, a Parish photo with the Bishop on the church steps, an outdoor boxed supper with fellowship, and more outdoor music marked the anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone at St. Patrick Church last Saturday, August 21, 2021. Congratulations to St Patrick Parish on this beautiful occasion! Mass prayed with open doors to the street and the outward signs of the Bishop’s presence, the water, blessing, music, and fellowship were an opportunity to evangelize by the presence of God’s people gathering, praying, singing, processing, eating, and sharing fellowship in the church neighborhood. May God’s blessings at St. Patrick Parish continue to multiply!
