L’Arche Cleveland Empty Bowl Fundraiser, 09/17/2017
L’Arche Cleveland, a nonprofit organization that provides homes for adults with developmental disabilities, is hosting an Empty Bowl Fundraiser on Sunday, September 17, 2017, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at the Federated Church Family Life Center in Chagrin Falls. At L’Arche, eating together is one of the most enjoyable and sacred times of the day. A simple meal of soup & bread will be served in hand-crafted bowls donated by local artisans.

Feast of the Assumption of Mary, 08/15/2017
Tuesday, August 15, 2017 is the Solemnity of Mary’s assumption into heaven; it is a Holy Day of Obligation. It celebrates God’s special favor to Mary, the sinless one, mother of Jesus the Christ, son of God, at the end of her life on earth to be received body and soul to the glory of heaven. In her Assumption, Mary is also a sign of the whole church, destined to be united with God in heaven at the end of time. We will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary at 7:00 PM Vigil Mass on Monday, August 14 and at 7:00 AM and Noon Masses on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
Please note: Due to Monday’s Vigil Mass, there will be NO Noon Mass on Monday.
Volunteers Needed For Church Tours, 08/19/2017
On Saturday, August 19, 2017 the former streetcar line under the Veterans Memorial Bridge will be open to visitors for the first time in four years. We will offer Church tours from 10:30 AM-4:00 PM . We are looking for volunteers to help greet and talk with visitors. If you can volunteer even for an hour or two, please contact Kay Vine at 216-563-1993.
