St. Malchi Parish is pleased to announce that it opened for Sunday Mass for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdown.

With social distancing, Mass looks quite a bit different. Rigorous procedures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all. The photo above shows a capacity crowd, with all family units 6 feet apart.
All parishioners, whether in attendance or not, remain in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

Fr. Michael Gurnick, Administrator of St. Malachi parish, offers a Mother’s Day greeting to all mothers and those who serve in motherly roles. He also shares a Mother’s Day blessing.
In addition, he invites all to come to the inside of St. Malachi Church This Sunday, May 10, 2020, between 10:00AM and Noon, for a brief moment of quiet prayer, to meet and greet friends, and to light a candle for a mother in your life.

1. Shepherd and sheep, my God and I:
to fresh green fields you led my steps in days gone by.
You gave me rest by quiet springs
and filled my soul with peace your loving presence brings.

Online Bible Study on St. Peter – FORMED – Starting 4/29/2020
All are invited to an on-line bible study focusing on the apostle St. Peter. We will be using the 10-part series, LECTIO Peter, on the FORMED platform. This amazing 10-part series is led by the President of the Augustine Institute, the renowned biblical scholar Dr. Tim Gray.

Divine Mercy was established as a Feast in the year 2000 on the occasion of the millennium, and on the day that he canonized Sr. Maria Faustina Kowalski as the apostle of Divine Mercy.

Easter Vigil Videogram to St. Malachi Parishioners, 2020
On this night of the Easter Vigil, The Exsultet, the proclamation hymn of Easter, is sung before the Pascal Candle.
It is a proclamation of praise and thanksgiving celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord.
We pray for Easter Blessings for the parishioners of St. Malachi and St. Patrick parishes on this Easter Vigil, 2020.
The Exsultet is sung by cantors Brian Marshall and Victoria McBride.
Prior to COVID-19, the plan for St. Malachi and St. Patrick was for both parishes to celebrate Holy Thursday at St. Malachi, and for both parishes to celebrate the Easter Vigil at St. Patrick. So, here is the celebration:
