May 4, 2008 Since the last update, the Cluster Planning Committee has met twice, on April 1 and April 23. At both meetings the committee discussed the vision statement for our cluster. The April 1st meeting produced a lively discussion of what that vision should be, and several members of the Cluster Planning Committee volunteered to form a writing subcommittee, which was charged with trying to capture the thoughts expressed on April 1st into one cohesive vision. The writing subcommittee presented its draft of the vision statement to the Cluster Planning Committee before the April 23rd meeting, and the Cluster Planning Committee adopted the draft of the vision statement at that meeting. The current draft of the vision statement is attached to this Update, and we present it to the members of each parish in our Cluster for review and comment. Each parish will seek feedback from its parishioners in its own way, and we encourage you to share your vision for the Cluster with our pastors and committee members. The Cluster Planning Committee’s next meeting is scheduled for May 13th, at which time we plan to begin discussing the possible configuration scenarios for our cluster. Cluster Leadership Team
