IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program coordinated by the Cuyahoga EITC Coalition is seeking volunteers. The program is directed to the working poor, those who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit. Everything is FREE to the taxpayers. In 2017 the coalition did 13,466 returns bringing over 20 Million dollars to the community through refunds to our clients. Except for a few staff we are all volunteers certified by the IRS. There are a wide variety of locations and hours to choose from. You are never alone; there is always a veteran working with you. If you are interested in this valuable work, go to the website: www.refundohio.org or call Bob Simoneau at (440) 665-6489. Bob has been a volunteer for 12 years and found it to be valuable, rewarding and a pleasure. Brochures are at the doors of the Church.
The Communications Commission needs your help with the following:
- Updating the website 1-2 time each month
