Join other S.M.A.R.T. (St. Malachi Adults Raising Toddlers/Teens/Tweens, etc.) families this Lent as we say good-bye to some of our beloved fish fries forever. Endangered Catholics? Maybe. Endangered Parishes – yes!

On Wednesday, The Plain Dealer reported that the group “Endangered Catholics” is calling for an immediate, diocesan-wide boycott of collections, withholding “any further financial contributions to any Roman Catholic Church until Bishop Richard Lennon agrees to mediation with each parish protesting its closing.” This is a tactic to leverage withholding contributions into negotiating power.
