LIVING WATER -- WATER FOR LIVINGoffer Lenten sacrifices & give the money saved to support the work of Water 1st International
In John's Gospel, Jesus offers the woman at the well “living water.“ In our world today, one out of every five people do not have access to clean water; two of every five people do not have access to basic sanitation, leading to 5,000,000 deaths a year. This year, the people of St. Malachi are invited to offer Lenten sacrifices & give the money saved to support the work of Water 1st International, which works with local communities in Bangladesh, Honduras, India & Ethiopia to provide locally built & run water systems. If you have not already done so, please pick up a “water jugs” label to attach to a container or envelope for your Lenten sacrifices & bring it to Holy Thursday Mass.

Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world."
