The Real Work of Christmas

When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost
to heal the broken
to feed the hungry
to release the prisoner
to rebuild the nations
to bring peace among all
to make music in the heart.

Howard Thuman

Thank You
We offer thanks and appreciation to the many people who have given of themselves to ennoble our Christmas celebration! Special thanks to Charlene McElwee, our Liturgy & Music Minister, the choirs, musicians and cantors who make beautiful music all year long, but especially at Christmas, the liturgical ministers, the many people who cleaned & decorated the church, inside & out, and all who help make liturgy “the source and summit” of our celebration. May God bless you!

John testified further, saying, "I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from heaven and remain upon him. I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God." - Jn 1:32-34
