LAS POSADAS CELEBRATION
Many years ago,
St. Malachi Center adapted the Mexican Christmas tradition of Las Posadas, the remembrance of the Holy Family's search for a room at an inn. The celebration includes active involvement in procession, prayer, song, and meal by St. Malachi volunteers and
Center participants. The festivity takes place on the St. Malachi grounds. After the procession there is a light meal. This year the event is Saturday, December 8 from 5 to 8 pm, followed by a showing of the movie, The Nativity Story. There is a sign up sheet at the 9:30 and 11:00 coffee hours or please call
St. Malachi Center, (216) 771-3036. Please join the us and sign up to participate.
ADVENT FAMILY CELEBRATION

Come share a moment of peace in this hectic season. Dress for the weather, as there will be a procession in the park. All ages encouraged to attend. Refreshments provided. For information call: Diane Brinich at (216) 521-1360 or Karen Duffy at (216) 346-0784.

"Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come. Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into. So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come."
- Mt 24:42-44
