VIBRANT PARISH LIFE CLUSTER MEETING
On Monday, August 20, the members of our Cluster Planning & Coordinating (CPC) Team met at St. Wendelin Church. The focus of the meeting was discerning the CPC leadership team. The group decided that it was important to have one person from each parish represented on the Leadership team. After prayer, discussion and discernment, the group chose: Chairperson: Jim Connell (Community of St. Malachi); Vice Chairperson: Rev. Mr. James Armstrong (St. Wendelin); Secretary: Anthony Coyne (St. Patrick); Communication Liaison: Michael French (St. Malachi Parish). As this was the only business, there are no further minutes for the meeting. The September meeting is at St. Malachi Church.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOTLINE
Domestic Violence: Must I forgive? Abusers are quick to pressure victims to forgive and reconcile. This puts victims at risk again. Offenders in treatment have made a powerful plea: “Do not forgive us so easily.” Forgiveness is not permission to do the same again. The moral response is to first stop coercive behavior; only then can trust be rebuilt. For help, call the Cuyahoga County Domestic Violence hotline: (216) 631-2275.
