Next Sunday is the annual Peter's Pence collection at all the Masses. This appeal enables the Pope to respond to requests for emergency funds from needy people all over the world. SPIRITUALITY OF LITURGY
Fr. Joseph J. Fortuna, STD, pastor of Ascension Parish, will be at St. Malachi Center on Thursday June 28 to speak about the Spirituality of Liturgy. Join us and learn more about that which, at least weekly, brings us together and links us to Jesus and the Last Supper. A $5 donation is appreciated, but not required. “MASTERPIECES OF EUROPEAN ART” TOUR
A group from St. Malachi is planning a group tour of “Masterpieces of European Art” from the collection of the Cleveland Art Museum now on exhibit at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage on Wednesday, June 20 at 6:30 PM. FAITH AND SHARING RETREAT The annual Faith and Sharing Retreat, “The Healing Power of Love” led by Fr. Bernard Menard OMI is June 21 - 24 at the St. Joseph Christian Life Center.  The cost is $160 for adults, $125 for children, which includes meals, snacks & lodging. Some scholarships are available. This Wednesday, June 20, please join us in 'Bridges to Contemplation, which uses Thomas Merton's writings as a starting point of discussion with another contemporary writer, followed by time for silence and contemplation to identify with the writings. FIRST FRIDAY CLUB OF CLEVELAND
The First Friday Club of Cleveland will meet on Thursday, June 28 at the Metropolitan Restaurant in the Huntington Building, 917 Euclid Avenue. The speaker will be Michael D. Connelly, President & CEO, Catholic Healthcare Partners. Topic: Meeting the Needs of Uninsured Persons: A Moral Priority. SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN
St. Malachi Center is working with the Summer Lunch Program, once again, and will be serving nearly 100 children (hopefully) Monday through Friday from 12 noon to 1 pm in the school hall starting Monday June 18 and ending Thursday August 9.

OLD ANGLE FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL -- HELP NEEDED

• Volunteers are needed for the “Old Angle Family Fun Festival” on Saturday, June 30. Plan to join us from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Center parking lots. It will be a great day of games, prizes, food and old-fashioned carnival fun. Bring the whole family!
