ST. MALACHI PRAYER ALERTS
The Prayer Alert system is for emergency notifications relating to St. Malachi Parish and the Community of St. Malachi. These notices are meant to include deaths, serious illness, & other urgent prayer requests regarding members, former members, and their family loved ones. We have had the St. Malachi prayer alerts for five years. We have received many favorable comments and gracious thanks for having the email alerts in place and especially for all your prayers and good wishes. Please continue to remember and pray for the individuals and family members who have asked for our prayers. Just to remind everyone that our policy for requesting an alert is this: all prayer alert requests must go through the rectory (216) 861-5343 or (216) 781-3110. They will then be sent to the "messenger" on call to send out the e-mail. There will be no exceptions in the future. Anyone wishing to be removed from the list or change email address, please contact Dolores Sullin at
www.stmalachi.org/prayers.asp

SPIRITUALITY OF LITURGY
Fr. Joseph J. Fortuna, STD, pastor of Ascension Parish, will be at
St. Malachi Center on Thursday June 28 to speak about the
Spirituality of Liturgy. Join us and learn more about that which, at least weekly, brings us together and links us to Jesus and the Last Supper. A $5 donation is appreciated, but not required. Please contact Bill Jacob for more information. This is gratefully supported by the Spiritual Development Committee.
CLUSTERING UPDATE
Please read Bishop Lennon's letter included in today's bulletin. In it, he confirms our cluster group: St. Malachi Parish, the Community of St. Malachi, St. Patrick, St. Wendelin. He also lays out goals or challenges that our cluster planning group will need to address. You will see that the challenges we face are substantive.
Bishop Lennon's letter also mentions a “District Delegate” whose role is to make sure that the planning process goes forward in a timely and effective way. Bishop Lennon has appointed Fr. Jerry Lajack from St. Wendelin as our District Delegate.
The Clustering process is, most of all, a process of discernment, of being open to where the Holy Spirit is calling us as a church. This whole process must be rooted in prayer, if it is to succeed in making our parishes and diocesan church more vibrant.
Please, please continue to pray for this clustering process.
Fr. Tony Schuerger

Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets. - Lk 9:16-17
