CATECHETICAL SERVICES COLLECTION
This weekend is the annual appeal for the Religious Education and Newman Campus Ministry (Office of Catechetical Services).  This appeal supports parish & school catechetical leader & catechist development and the Newman Campus Ministry. We are all called to support the formation and education of the faith community. There will be a second collection at all the Masses. Thank you for supporting this appeal.

MOTHER'S DAY
As we celebrate Mother's Day, let us remember and give thanks for our mothers and grandmothers, whether living or deceased. Let us also celebrate Godmothers, foster mothers, adoptive and step-mothers and all who have the role of “mother” in someone's life. May God bless them all!

SR. FRANCIS' 60TH JUBILEE
This year, our own Sr. Francis Borgia OSU celebrates her 60th Jubilee as an Ursuline Sister. St. Malachi is celebrating on Saturday, June 2 at the 4:30 PM Mass followed by refreshments in the hall. All are welcome! Please call the Rectory with any questions or for more information. (216) 861-5343

PARISH COUNCIL OPENINGS
Parish Council represents the people of St. Malachi; it is the most important consultative group in the parish. This coming year, as clustering begins, Parish Council will be even more important. CHRISTIAN FORMATION REGISTRATION

BACKDOOR MINISTRY NEEDS!!
St. Malachi Backdoor Ministry needs donations of men's white socks and cotton T-shirts of any color. Summer weight coats and jackets are needed also. Volunteers are needed, especially on weekdays, to serve sandwiches, doughnuts and coffee. Call Sr. Francis, 216-861-5343.

CAN YOU SPARE AN EXTRA HOUR EACH WEEK?
St. Augustine Health Campus (located in the old St. John's Hospital Building at W. 79 and Detroit) needs Eucharistic Ministers to distribute Communion, visit & pray with Nursing Home Residents. Volunteers are needed 7 days a week. Sign up for 1 or more days - you decide the time of day that works best for you! Call the Life Enrichment Office at (216) 939-7668.

CAMP HAPPINESS SUMMER PROGRAM
Camp Happiness is a 6-week day camp (June 18 to July 27) for persons with cognitive & other developmental disabilities, ages 6-21. Sites are located in Lakewood, Parma, Cleveland & Wickliffe. Campers enjoy activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, indoor & outdoor games, community field trips. Activities are designed to allow individuals to participate to the best of their ability. 61ST ANNUAL A.A. MEMORIAL MASS, BREAKFAST

ATTENTION TEENAGERS 14 AND UP...
Are you looking for something fun and valuable to do this summer? How about earning some service hours for high school while you're at it! The Lighthouse Summer Camp is looking for responsible volunteers to join our staff this summer. Our campers are ages 3-9 and enrolled in The Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation/ DD.
