MARYKNOLL STATIONS OF THE CROSS

RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD
Confused about what Islam teaches? What the differences are between Sunnis & Shia's? Fr. Joseph Hilinski, Interfaith Director for the Diocese of Cleveland, is presenting a program, Religions of the World: Focus on Judaism and Islam. The next session is this Tuesday March 20th, Islam Part I, from 7 -- 9 pm at St. Malachi Center. The last session about is March 27. For more information, see the flyers in Church. 

LET US PRAY WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP
St. Malachi Center invites all women to join St. Malachi Center women participants every Wednesday morning at 10:30am for a prayer group, Let Us Pray. We read scripture or other inspired literature and have a group discussion. Please meet us in St. Malachi Church on Wednesdays at 10:30am. All women are welcome.

CELEBRATION FOR SR. ANN KILBANE
St. Colman Church is hosting a retirement celebration for Sr. Ann Kilbane CSJ next Sunday, March 25, beginning with Mass at 11 am, followed by a reception in the parish hall. All are invited to attend. Call the parish if you need more information.

SPIRITUALITY OF CHRISTIAN NONVIOLENCE
This is a five-session course offered at St. Brendan Parish. Participants are invited to journey toward a greater awareness of the nonviolent love of Jesus as revealed through His life and teachings. Sessions will incorporate prayer, small group discussion, guest speakers, and materials from various faiths, including readings by Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi, Fr. Emmanuel Charles McCarthy, Dorothy Day, Thomas Merton, and Pope John Paul II, with an emphasis on peace through Gospel nonviolence. Thursday evenings from 7:15-9 pm on April 12, 19, 26, May 3 and 10. Facilitators are Augie and Trena Pacetti, members of St. Brendan's Social Justice Commission and Pax Christi USA. The Sisters of Norte Dame have a Prayer Line Ministry. They dedicate time each day to receive calls and pray for your intentions. The Sisters will receive your calls from 10 AM-4 PM on Monday-Friday. During weekends and holidays you may leave your requests on their answering service. These requests will also be remembered in prayer. Are you interested in taking the Eucharist to your brothers & sisters who are hospitalized or need long-term nursing care? If so, please consider volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister at the Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Center for Skilled Nursing Care at MetroHealth. Eucharistic Ministers are needed Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM and Sundays.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Sisters of Notre Dame invite women ages 18 - 40 to participate in a five day program of summer service with the sisters. Summer options include: an inner-city elementary school and Bible camp, a crisis care center for children, and a rural camp for migrant workers and their families. These opportunities are available in Cleveland and surrounding areas in May and July, and in Los Angeles, CA in August.
