BLACK & NATIVE AMERICAN COLLECTIONI give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." Jn: 13:34
This weekend is the annual appeal for the Black and Native American Missions in the United States. Funds are needed to continue present evangelization programs & even more, to continue assistance to parishes devastated by hurricanes to rebuild their programs. Many places lost everything; even 500 days later, much has yet to be rebuilt, ministries & evangelization programs restarted. There is a second collection at all Masses.
