Soup & God is a twice-monthly St. Malachi Center program for men in transition who come to discuss the blessings and obstacles of their lives over lunch. FREE TAX CLINIC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
St. Malachi Center is looking for volunteers to help prepare simple tax returns at our free tax clinic on Saturday February 10 from 11 am to 4 pm. RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD” PROGRAM
Confused about what Islam teaches? What the differences are between Sunnis and Shia's? Wondering how the Judaism of Jesus' day connects with Judaism today? Fr. Joseph Hilinski, Interfaith Director for the Diocese of Cleveland, will present a 5-part program, Religions of the World: Focus on Judaism and Islam beginning Tuesday, February 13, from 7 -- 9 pm at St. Malachi Church hall. BACKDOOR MINISTRY HELP NEEDED

CENTER OPENING: YOUTH PROGRAM ASSOCIATE
St. Malachi Center is seeking a youth program associate. It is a paid part-time position, Monday through Friday afternoons to 6:30 pm. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; some college is preferred. LET US PRAY” PRAYER GROUP
St. Malachi Center invites all women to join St. Malachi Center women participants every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am for a prayer group, Let Us Pray. We read scripture (usually Old Testament) or other inspired literature letting it touch us and explain how it touches us. There is a little homework! The place is St. Malachi Center kitchen. All women are welcome. 

L'ARCHE CLEVELAND-REVERSE RAFFLE
You are cordially invited to attend the L'Arche Cleveland Reverse Raffle. This is a major fundraising event for L'Arche. All of the proceeds directly benefit L'Arche Cleveland. The benefit will be on February 3, at Catered Elegance, 1160 Broadway Ave., Bedford, Oh 44146 at 6:30 PM. Main Raffle Prize $2,000, Bonus Drawing $500, plus side boards and auctioned prizes. Abusive behavior usually follows this three-phase cycle: (1) Tension building of anger & frustration leading to blame & verbal abuse towards victims; (2) Acute battering incident - taking many forms including: verbal battering, threats, throwing objects and/or physical violence; (3) Seeming calm - the batterer expresses remorse, apologizes, promises to behave or get help, gifts - anything to reassert control. Family members. learn to “walk on eggshells” & live in fear. This cycle repeats & escalates over time unless help is sought & found. Help is available. SISTERS OF NORTE DAME PRAYER LINE
The Sisters of Norte Dame have a Prayer Line Ministry. They dedicate time each day to receive calls and pray for your intentions. The Sisters will receive your calls from 10 AM-4 PM on Monday-Friday. During weekends and holidays you may leave your requests on their answering service. These requests will also be remembered in prayer. The sisters in Assisted Living look forward to praying for your needs and requests.

YOUNG ADULTS IN THE CITY
Young Adults (20's & 30's) are invited to volunteer with the Cleveland Food Bank on Saturday, February 10, 8 am-Noon. Participants will sort/repack food in their warehouse. THE DONUT MAN IS COMING!
Rob Evans, “The Donut Man” will be at St. Teresa of Avila Parish (1878 Abbe Rd., Sheffield Village) on Friday evening, February 9 to share his inspiring conversion story to the Catholic faith, entitled “Late for Supper”. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. A free will offering will be taken. On Saturday morning, February 10 at 10:00 a.m., Rob as the Donut Man, will present a concert for the whole family.
