Value of Silence
We must be silent before we can listen;
We must listen before we can learn;
We must learn before we can prepare;
We must prepare before we can serve;
We must serve before we can lead;
We must lead before we can know one
of the real values of silence.
-William Arthur Ward
COMMISSION SUNDAY
During Advent, people were invited to a time of silent discernment to pray about participating in a Parish Commission. This weekend, you will hear a parish member who has served on a commission. Next week, we invite you to come to the hall after Mass to learn about the Parish Commissions with the hope you decide to serve on one of the commissions. Thank you for all you do to help keep St. Malachi Parish vibrant!

The Real Work of Christmas
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost
to heal the broken
to feed the hungry
to release the prisoner
to rebuild the nations
to bring peace among all
to make music in the heart.

There was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, & the mother of Jesus was there.
Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.
When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” - Jn. 1-3
