Thought for the New Year…
It is not how much we do,
But how much love we put in the doing.
It is not how much we give,
but how much love we put in the giving.

JANUARY 1: SOLEMNITY OF MARY, THE MOTHER OF GOD & WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR PEACE
January 1 is the Solemn Feast of Mary as Mother of God and the World Day of Prayer for Peace. This year, because New Year's Day falls on a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is dispensed. There is no evening Mass on December 31. The Mass on New Year's Day will be at 10 AM.
Prayer for
Peace
Lead
me from death To life, from falsehood to truth
Lead me from despair to hope,
from fear to trust.
Lead me from hate to love,
from war to peace
Let peace fill our heart, our world, our universe…
Peace Peace Peace
