The CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COLLECTION
The Catholic Campaign for Human Development
collection is this weekend at all Masses. Many Americans enjoy prosperity, but poverty in America is rising. Nearly
36 million Americans & one in six children live in
poverty. One in eight Americans struggles to find affordable housing, splits prescription medicine in half, or works more than one job to make ends meet. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development helps people change the conditions that keep them living in poverty.

Prayer for Thanksgiving Dinner
Gracious God, Lord of the harvest, in love you give us this meal to be our joy and delight. We thank you for the goodness of the people of this country and for the spirit of justice that sometimes shakes our nation. We thank you for the beauty and bounty of the land and the challenge of the cities. We thank you for our work and our rest, for one
another, and for our home. For all we have spoken, and all that we keep in our hearts, accept our Thanksgiving Day. We make this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen
