CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY APPEAL
This weekend is the annual collection for The Catholic University of America. Among the Catholic University graduates of our diocese are Fr. Paul Hritz & Fr. Mark DiNardo of St. Patrick. Jan Dolny, the seminarian from Slovakia who was with us in 2004 is currently studying theology at Catholic University. There is a second collection at all the Masses.

“PRAYING WITH ST IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA” RETREAT
“Is God calling you to closer a relationship?“ Praying with St. Ignatius of Loyola” is a retreat adapted from The Spiritual Exercises to foster a heartfelt knowledge of Jesus. Fr. Clem Metzger SJ, of the Jesuit Retreat House will guide you through different methods of prayer, meditation, journaling & small group sharing. You are asked to commit 30 minutes a day to private prayer. There is a weekly group meeting on Sunday: Sept. 17, 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12 from 7-8:30 pm in St. Malachi hall.
Registrations are available at the doors of the church. Please register by Tuesday, Sept.

SISTERS OF NORTE DAME PRAYER LINE
The Sisters of Norte Dame have a Prayer Line Ministry. They dedicate time each day to receive calls and pray for your intentions. The Sisters will receive your calls from 10 AM-4 PM on Monday-Friday.
During weekends and holidays you may leave your requests on their answering service. These requests will also be remembered in prayer. The sisters in Assisted Living look forward to praying for you needs and requests.
