SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR HURRICANE RELIEF
Next weekend, August 26-27, there is a special collection at all the Masses.
Help Rebuild Church, Rebuild Hope will support hurricane relief efforts in the Archdiocese of New Orleans and Diocese of Biloxi.
This collection focuses on rebuilding churches, schools, & other essential parts of parishes which are needed to rebuild people's hope. Rebuilding churches & church structures is critically important now, as many civil jurisdictions declare that they can no longer assist those who were displaced by the 2005 hurricanes, and will be unable to do so in the future.

VIBRANT PARISH LIFE - PHASE II MEETINGS NEXT WEEKEND
Inserted in this weekend's bulletin is a report from our St. Malachi Parish Vibrant Parish Life II Leadership Team. It lists a several possible parish cluster combinations & some reasons why that cluster of parishes could be proposed. You will note that St. Malachi Parish and the Community of St. Malachi are listed in every cluster possibility. Please study this sheet carefully!
We NEED YOUR comments!
Next weekend, we will meet after each parish Mass to answer questions and get your feedback. We will meet in church after the Saturday 4:30 Mass & Sunday 12:30 Mass. The meeting after 9:30 Mass will be at Coffee Hour in the hall.
It might be helpful to review the information from previous inserts: What's a Cluster of Parishes? and How Do We Discern Cluster Partners? Copies of these inserts can be found at the church doors.
St. Malachi Parish and the Community of St. Malachi will each submit 2-3 proposed parish cluster partners to the diocese by October 1. |
