DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNTY HOTLINE
Abusive Behavior usually follows this three-phase cycle: (1) Tension building: anger & frustration leading to blame and verbal abuse; (2) Acute battering incident: which takes many forms, including verbal battering, threats, throwing objects & physical violence; (3) Seeming calm: the batterer expresses remorse, apologizes, promises to behave/get help, gifts - anything to reassert control. Family members learn to “walk on eggshells” & live in fear. This cycle repeats & escalates over time unless help is sought & found. BACKDOOR MINISTRY HELP NEEDED

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FRONTIER DAY CAMP
Day camp for Children with Learning Disabilities is looking for volunteers, ages 14 years and older, to work with children in camp activities including arts & crafts, swimming & sports.
