There is a second collection next weekend for the support of the Religious Education & Newman Campus Ministry (the Office of Catechetical Services.) This appeal supports the development of parish and school catechetical leaders and catechists, and the work of the Newman Campus Ministry. Welcome to Bishop Richard Lennon, who will be installed as Bishop of Cleveland this Monday, May 15 at 3 PM at St. John Cathedral. At this time, Bishop Anthony Pilla will begin his retirement. Let is pray for our new Bishop. The Parish Council recently sent Bishop Pilla a letter of thanks and appreciation for his many years of faithful service.

MOTHER'S DAY
As we celebrate Mother's Day, let us remember and give thanks for our mothers and grandmothers, whether living or deceased. Let us also celebrate Godmothers, foster mothers, adoptive and step-mothers and all who have the role of “mother” in someone's life. May God bless them all!

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a corps of volunteers for various opportunities at
St. Malachi
Center. Qualified candidates must have a commitment to the

RELATIONSHIP SKILLS WORKSHOP FOR ENGAGED COUPLES
PREP workshops for engaged couples will be offered on Sunday, May 21 and Sunday, July 23 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (including Mass) at St. Christopher's Church 20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River. This workshop fulfils the Pre-Cana requirement for engaged couples and will include ways to enhance spiritual growth as a couple. The workshop will be conducted by Michael Pavlak, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist, who has been trained in the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP), a research-based program that teaches skills for marital success.
