HEBREW SCRIPTURE BACKGROUND OF EUCHARIST
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish is hosting a new program that focuses on Eucharistic themes from the Hebrew Scriptures. Covenant, Sacrifice, Memorial, Blessing and Praise and Prophetic Service are the foundational themes found in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) that are chosen for reflection. Through song and prayer, group discussions, teaching, witness and story telling, participants will discover that the Hebrew Scriptures are a well spring from which the Eucharist was instituted, grew and flowed into the world as testament of the ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

SOUP FOR THE SOUL” GIVES HELP AND NEEDS HELP
The 2006 “Soup for the Soul” Benefit for St. Malachi Center is Thursday, March 30 at Signature at LaCentre. To be successful, the Center needs your help! Can you volunteer on the Committee? A new task force is contacting businesses asking that they sponsor a specific portion of the Soup evening. Can you help us reach the company you work for? Can you identify other companies who might help the Center? Will you commit to look around you in the pews - and in your neighborhood - and at work - to recognize that there are people there whom you could influence in a good way? Will you attend, sponsor, donate, whatever?" We need to help the Center help families who need help! If you said “I support the work of St. Malachi Center, will you help? See the folks who are already helping at the table at Coffee Hours or call (216) 771-3036.GLORY to GOD
