JOIN “LAS POSADAS” - AN ADVENT TRADITION!
Many years ago, St. Malachi Center
adapted the Mexican tradition of Las Posadas, the remembrance of the Holy Family's search for a room at the inn. The celebration includes active involvement in procession, prayer and song around the grounds of St. Malachi. After the procession, there is a light meal by St. Malachi volunteers and Center participants. This year's event is Saturday, December 17 from 5:15 to about 7:30 pm. All are invited to come! A sign up sheet is at 9:30 & 11:00 Coffee Hours or please call St. Malachi Center, (216) 771-3036.
ST HERMAN BENEFIT SPAGHETTI DINNER
This Sunday, December 4, beginning in the hall at 11 AM is the annual Spaghetti Dinner to benefit St. Herman's. St. Herman's Monastery of the Little Brothers practices the traditional Christian & monastic virtue of Hospitality. It has become one of the most important shelters for men in Cleveland. Dinner is $6 for adults; $4 for seniors, $2.50 for children under 12. Thank you for your support!
HOLIDAY VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED AT CENTER
St. Malachi Center bustles with activity during December & there is a great need for volunteers to help with holiday activities. Even if you can only give a few hours, it would be a great help! A sign up sheet to volunteer will be at 9:30 & 11:00 Coffee Hours or call Jackie at St. Malachi Center, (216) 771-3036.

CHRISTMAS FOR THE KIDS OF KATRINA
As we begin this wonderful season of celebrating and giving, remember to pray for those who are working to help rebuild the lives of victims of natural disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina. Please consider supporting our Christian Formation High School teens' effort to provide
CHRISTMAS FOR THE KIDS OF KATRINA (CKK) a project sponsored by the Diocese of Biloxi, Mississippi & several Gulf coast churches. Its goal is to brighten Christmas for the children of the Mississippi Gulf Coast by giving a Christmas gift to every child in need on the Coast. The target ages are infants through high school. The gifts should be new, not used. Suggested gifts are toys for the younger children and gift certificates from local stores and/or national stores such as Wal-Mart, Sears or Penny's. Gifts should be wrapped with a label attached indicating boy or girl & the age range. Bring your gift to the box at the front of the church by December 11, so gifts can be shipped in time for Christmas. Cash donations will help provide shipping expenses. Envelopes are available at the doors of the church, and can be put in the collection basket. Please make checks payable to St. Malachi Church, with “Kids of Katrina” on the Memo line.
