ST. MALACHI 140TH ANNIVERSARY MASS
Bishop Anthony Pilla will celebrate the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday, November 6, in celebration of the Feast of St. Malachy and the 140th Anniversary of St. Malachi Parish. Please note: After consulting with the Parish Council and St. Malachi Community Council, the Mass Schedule on November 6 is changed: 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. There will be no 12:30 PM Mass on this Sunday ONLY.

HELLO S.M.A.R.T. PARENTS (ST. MALACHI ADULTS RAISING TOTS, TWEENS, TEENS.)
We are planning a DEAR (Drop Everything And (bike) Ride) Day next Sunday, October 16, for a SMART bike outing on the Towpath Trail through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We will meet about 1:15 PM at the Canal Visitor Center, 7104 Canal Rd, at the corner of Canal Rd. and Hillside Dr. in Valley View for a brown bag picnic (bring your own brown bag) and then we will begin bike riding at about 2 PM. From the Visitor Center, Brecksville Station is less than 5 miles and Peninsula is about 12, so there is something for everyone. Join us for lunch, biking or both.
VOLUNTEERING AT ST. MALACHI CENTER

Center; we appreciate your support. The Center is seeking more “Reading Buddies.” This weekly 1-1˝ hour commitment assists one or two students improve reading skills. THEOLOGY ON TAP
Sam Miller, a leader in the local Jewish community and co-chair and treasurer of Forest City Enterprises, will address "Catholicism and Philanthropy" at the fall installment of Theology on Tap, an unconventional lecture series on religious issues. 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17 at the Improv at the Powerhouse, located at 2000 Sycamore St., on the west bank of Cleveland's Flats district. The event begins with a cash bar at 6:30 p.m. and the lecture will start at 7:30. Admission is $3 and seating is limited. Anthony M. Pilla, D.D., M.A., as the main celebrant and homilist. There will be public reception in Linus Hall immediately following the Mass.

Malachi House's 18th annual benefit, “Let the Good Dice Roll,” is Friday, Oct. 21, at La Centre in Westlake. A CONTEMPLATIVE ROSARY
