CHURCH PROJECTS
This week we will be replacing the carpeting in the church! Please note: weekday Masses will take place this week in the school building. Weekend Masses will be in church. Last year, a member of the Community of St. Malachi died and left a bequest to the Community. The Community Council decided to use the bequest for new carpeting, which has been a desperate need for some time.

CELEBRATION OF STAFF

This year - 2005 - marks the 140th anniversary of St. Malachi Church and the 30th anniversary of the Community of St. Malachi. At the very heart of our much-loved spiritual home is our staff, the dedicated people who provide spiritual direction, head the outreach programs, support the day-to-day business details, encourage and provide the Christian formation to the youngest members of our community. They are the backbone of St. Malachi.

As part of St. Malachi 140th Anniversary celebration, come celebrate St. Malachi & the wonderful staff who serve here - priests, secretaries, music/liturgy minister, pastoral ministers, DRE, deacon & others - this coming Saturday, July 30, 6-9 PM in our hall. Please use the Washington Ave. entrance. There will be catering by Massimo's, entertainment by a Blue Grass band & the St. Ignatius circus group, and more. Cost is $15 per person. Tickets are available after Mass and at Coffee hour.
