are sponsoring a 4-day celebration of freedom on July 1--4!
St. Malachi
Center is hosting the Old Angle Family Fun Festival Saturday, July 2, from 1 - 4 PM. This special event offers live Irish entertainment, traditional carnival games (milk can toss, bottle ring toss, dart balloon game, duck pond), activities including face painting, water balloon walk, limbo & hoola-hoop contests and Marshmallow Golf. There will be free health screenings for blood sugar and high blood pressure; information on community resources will be available. There will be an assortment of delicious food. This is sure to be a day of fun for the entire family!
Malachi Mart is also celebrating July 1-4 with specials on food and Holiday items.
On Sunday and Monday, there is an Art
Fest. The Art Fest closes at 8:00 pm on July 4th, and the fireworks on the river start approximately at 9:30 pm.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
On July 2, 2005,
St. Malachi Center is hosting the Old Angle Family Fun Festival from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. We need your help. We need volunteers to help setting up and running booths of games for children and families. We need help promoting and supporting the Malachi Mart. And we need help cleaning up. We need all who are interested and enjoy helping others, especially children, to have fun. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Please call Jackie at the

CELEBRATION OF STAFF
As part of St. Malachi's 140th Anniversary
celebration, come celebrate St. Malachi & the wonderful staff who serve here - priests, secretaries, music/liturgy minister, pastoral ministers, DRE, deacon & others - Saturday July 30, 6-9 PM in our hall. There will be catering by Massimo's, entertainment by a Blue Grass band & the St. Ignatius circus group, and more. Cost is $15 per person. Tickets are available after Mass and at Coffee hour.

FAIRVIEW HOSPITAL PASTORAL CARE VOLUNTEER STEPHEN MINISTRY
A new training class begins Tuesday, Sept. 6. Stephen Ministry volunteers offer spiritual support to hospital patients & their families and receive the opportunity to grow both personally and spiritually. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY CAR DONATION
An important source of funding to help the needy has been our
Car Donation
Program. Although the tax law regarding car donations has changed, the donor still receives a tax donation, just less than before. To supplement our current program and to benefit individuals who want to donate cars valued over $2000, we are introducing a Partial Interest Car Donation Program.
