CHURCH ROOF REPAIRS
Two separate repair projects are underway on the church roof. The flashing where the roof meets the bell tower is being replaced/repaired at a cost of $8,500. Water leakage has damaged some of the ceiling panels near the organ. The second project entails replacing & anchoring approximately 200 roof slates that are missing, cracked or broken at a cost of $5,500. Both projects are being paid from parish savings with some reimbursement for the slate replacement from our diocesan insurance.

HONK! JR.
Music by George Stiles Book & lyrics by Anthony Drewe Performances: June 17, 18 & 19, 2005 In a world that is too often narrow, closed and intolerant of anything or anyone who is different, a young "duckling" strays from home in search of love and self-acceptance and discovers the meaning of true beauty and the wonder of a glorious destiny. Witty, funny, and deeply moving, this magical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling" was the recipient of the 2000 Oliver Award (the British equivalent of the Tony Award) for Best new musical.

INE & BRANCHES GOSPEL DISCUSSION FORUM

www.stmalachi.org/parish/forum This is the link to St. Malachi's “Vine and Branches Gospel Discussion Forum” which allows Community of St. Malachi and St. Malachi Parish members to link to the readings for the upcoming Sunday's Liturgy of the Word and, if so moved, to post a reflection. In addition to spiritual preparation for each Sunday's Liturgy, the forum provides a format for deepening our understanding of God's Word and its impact in our lives through shared reflection.
